Before I chose the final paper that I was going to use I printed out my book onto the different papers that I purchased. I already had an idea of what paper I wanted to use but just to be sure I wanted to print one more time. I was pleased with the way that a few of the colours came out on my final choice of paper and the fonts all looked up to the standards that I wanted them to be. However there were a few streak lines that smudged onto the paper when I printed it out. I tried to re print a few times because I wanted a very matte finish with no streak lines however this wasn’t possible and was out of my control.
When I would print out my prototype pages, I would find small adjustments that I needed to make to ensure the book looked better. For example, when I first started printing I found that the font number was too big or the texts wouldn’t be aligned. These were small problems but I was happy that printing revealed them to me and I was able to touch up parts of the book that I felt could be improved. I was also able to see if the colours looked suitable with the images and if they image was too big or small. Once I had made the adjustments, I then printed my book and began to put it together.
