To create my storyboard for my moving image I used the inspiration that I gained from Anthony Francisco’s video ‘Psychedelic Adventure’. I chose this as my inspiration because I liked the way the images flow throughout the whole video and there are no pauses as everything slowly transforms into another shape or movement. I also liked the bold colours that he used that really brought the images to life. Many of the colours he used reflect the responses to what colour people see when they think of meditation. He uses a lot of reds, oranges and blues in his work. What I would change in my moving image would be the pace and idea behind his moving image. The video has quite a fast pace and it created quite a hectic and busy atmosphere which I think he is trying to portray. For my moving image, I would like my moving image to have the opposite effect. I want it to be quite calm and almost put you into a trance to where you feel like just watching the moving image is a form of meditation.
Along with the video, I used the responses from the survey. Creating this storyboard was important because it creates a guide for the moving image I will make.
