Experimenting with what could be seen through the Ravensbourne window was useful because I was able to see that although our super graphic was big and bold, it was still difficult to see it through the window. I learnt the importance of adding bold colours into my work to make it stand out.
Instead of adding text and making it complicated, we decided to create a simple arrow to direct you towards Ravensbourne. When analysing everyone else work, it was clear that a simple illustration could have more of an impact. As everyone elses signs were pact with different fonts and images which could be confusing to someone just walking by trying to get to Ravensbourne.
Overall, I think the work that was produced was good because not only was it simple but to make it bolder we added red along the arrows and as an outline to grab the publics attention. I think if we had more time, we would’ve added more colour to the sign just to ensure that it would be more visible from a distance.
