My contribution

Within our group each person shared the responsibility equally. For me, on the first day when we were put into groups I helped sketch out our costumes, contributing to the idea of creating a spiral as an idea. As a team we then sat and using a stanley knife we cut around the cardboard in the shape of a spiral, creating the form of the costume for Antek to wear. We also brainstormed different ideas that we had and all contributed to the ideas, stating what we felt would work and ideas that we were passionate about. I also created small spiral samples that were going to be a part of our happening   by painting numerous white sheets of paper, drawing and cutting each spiral up and testing to see how long it would spring and hold. This was done a few days before the happening and we had to ensure they were different sizes and lengths. We were all also given the responsibility to add to our presentation as it was on google docs so every member of the team has access to editing it. I was responsible for doing research into the different artist that we could become inspired by. I looked at different colours and compositions that could be useful when creating our happening. We then all put the slides together and equally presented our work in from of the class. For our moving image, we all contributed to adding different ideas of what to shoot, I included the ideas of popping a balloon, eating an apple, opening a can of coke and squeezing a tomato. Once we had our ideas down it was up to us to individually record these different videos which would later be put together. I recorded a number of different images that contributed to our moving image. We also all brought in our own materials and helped set up the happening. I brought my projector in and came in slightly earlier to help hang up the different spirals and blow the balloons up. However I think my biggest contribution to the group was creating the one cut book on illustrator. From scratch I created a one cut book to represent our theme, adding different shapes and spirals, trying to make it really represent our happening. Once I had finished editing it on illustrator, I  printed our a few  off and began to  cut and fold them to become the book.
