Having different source of videos helped to inspire the theme of the bauhaus party and also helped with research. I found making a mind map of everything I was seeing useful as I could always come back and refer to it if I struggled with any ideas and could always use it as a source of inspiration. Through watching the videos, I was able to find different artist to look at and also different parties and information on the Bauhaus.When coming up with ideas, it was important to keep my mind open to a variety of different ideas. Initially as a team we discussed our different ideas. I found it was important to listen to everyones different ideas and find a way to combine everyones initial ideas. By doing this we were able to come up with a final idea that could include something that everyone wanted. The research I had previously done helped to put this idea together. We initially had the idea of creating a kids birthday party as the theme but we felt that was too similar and we wanted to do something a bit different. We then moved to the idea of a clown theme. However we felt that this would be uninviting and so using these two themes we came up with the idea of throwing a RED party. this way we could incorporate both ideas into this. I found working as a team really useful as we were all able to bounce off of each others ideas and there wasn’t a moment that one person wasn’t busy with something new. We all were able to share our responsibilities equally and everyone played a part in creating a successful party.
