Main Areas of development:
When beginning my foundation course I had no experience in photoshop or indesign. When we first used photoshop for fashion, I wasn’t really aware of what I was doing. However once we had our skills session I was able to learn new and easier ways to use photoshop. The skills class was beneficial for me because I then was able to go back to my final piece for fashion and edit it to make it look more professional. I was also able to learnt to share new ideas, collaborate with other people and learn the value of teamwork / other peoples ideas. Also fashion taught me to become more expressive and take risks with my work. It also pushed me to experiment with materials I used. This improved the quality of my sketchbook. Also my research methods and note taking improved as at first it was evident that my research was missing when looking at my final piece. As my research became stronger, so did the quality of my sketchbook.
