using the app glimpse I was able to document part of my day out when visiting the Hayward and photographers gallery. The video focuses on subjects that I consider to be related to the word ‘descent’. This helped me to be more open to what I was surrounded by and also to view things that I see from a different perspective. I will go forward using this app as I feel it is a useful and effective way of documenting and collecting valuable information. Within the video I have included a range of different people of ages to contrast between old and young which is reflective of the word descent but also began the video with a lot of energy and a variety of exciting documentary, slowly descending to quite a boring and less energetic atmosphere to portray how we begin our lives with much energy and hope that can later become quite boring and repetitive. Therefore no longer contains the excitement it once did. In this sense it shows life descending in quite a negative way.
